The Federal Communications Commission published a final rule in today's issue of the Federal Register to introduce new FOIA regulations. The agency is making revisions to comply with changes introduced by the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016, to reflect existing FOIA practice, and to streamline agency procedures. Public comments were not solicited. The rule is effective February 13, 2017.
