The Defense Nuclear Facilities Safety Board has amended its FOIA regulations to comply with the changes required by the FOIA Improvement Act of 2016, according to a Federal Register notice to be published on July 3, 2017. There will be no opportunity for the public to submit comments, which the Board found "unnecessary." This final rule will become effective on July 26, 2017.
