The Department of Justice published a final rule in today’s issue of the Federal Register, which adopts without change the agency’s interim final rule amending its FOIA regulations. The interim rule was published at the beginning of 2017. Although DOJ received three public comments, it has declined to make any changes. The final rule is effective immediately.
